The earliest known time production for Winx Club was 1999. W.I.T.C.H was released to the public in 2001. Just because two series have the same genre, range of main character ethnicity and personalities doesn’t mean they’re directly based off one another.

other than being a magical girl series, i see nothing that would push people to say that winx copied witch, the plots are completely different, the setting, the characters, everything is different
